The moment of Biden's downfall on stage

US President Joe Biden fell shortly after handing out his final diploma at the Air Force Academy's opening ceremony. Biden fell while giving a speech and tripped over sandbags near the podium.

The video of Biden's fall went viral online and was responded to by the White House.

In the video, it is clear that Biden fell on stage, in an instant the video spread on the internet and the White House Ben LaBolt explained about the incident.

"He's fine. There was a sandbag on stage that tripped him during the handshake," LaBolt wrote.
It wasn't long before air force officials quickly helped Biden to wake up. Biden is the oldest person ever to serve as president, about 80 years old and will run again in next year's presidential election.

"I think Biden has a very credible record of running. The way they navigated the debt ceiling negotiations shows the value of experience," said David Axelrod, a former senior adviser to President Barack Obama. "His argument about wisdom is a real argument. The fall of Biden will be of serious concern given his old age, how he can continue to govern in the period to come."

This age factor will be an issue in the upcoming presidential election and polls show that it still remains in the range of 40% to vote for him, because the age at which other Democratic candidates are not impossible to return to support Donald Trump from the Republican party who is 76 years younger.

It is not impossible that Republicans will use this moment of Biden's downfall as a campaign weapon. A White House staffer immediately reacted to a tweet stating that Biden's fall on stage was nothing more than age and the arena of a series of ceremonial events so long that it drained stamina. "Standing on stage and shaking hands with all academy graduates for more than 2 hours will certainly drain stamina, so it is natural that then he lacks concentration"

Bedingfield, who was replaced by LaBolt, tweeted: "I personally have never stumbled in my life". Bedingfield also posted a video of Obama stumbling while on stage at a rally. "Shhhhh, don't tell the top brass of the democratic party," he said. "We know after that Obama was elected president in his second term." He wrote

Although Biden's staff moved quickly in response to the viral video, most of them indifferent, it is true that Biden is not the first president to fall on stage. Even President Gerald Ford was booed when he fell down the stairs of Air Force One in the rain, even though Ford was only 62 years old at the time. President George H. W. Bush also fell while bowling in Milwaukee during the 1992 campaign. So did Ronald Reagan to Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Another viral video of Trump walking slowly down a not-so-steep path prompted speculation over his fitness and earned ridicule from then-candidate Biden. Trump said: "The road was so long and steep, the last thing I would do was 'fall' to have fun with fake news."
Trump reacted to Biden's fall by saying "it's too bad that the president falls and doesn't inspire. I hope he doesn't get hurt," the former president said.

Biden fell in March 2021 when he tripped more than once while aboard Air Force One for a flight to Atlanta. So upset over the incident was Biden that he issued an expletive out of frustration.
Biden's advisers have told the public that his age is no longer relevant, but they tout that his old age is a powerful form of energy and voters in 2020 chose him.
